In response to the recent changes in the occurrence of covid-19 (Omicron variant) and government guidelines, the Bobath Centre is asking anyone attending the centre for treatment to do the following:

  • Take a rapid lateral flow test on the day of your appointment, before you come to the centre;
  • On a positive lateral flow test, seek a PCR test and self-isolate as recommended on the government website;
  • Clean hands before entering the building; Hand gel is provided at the entrance to the centre and throughout the building
  • Wear a face mask when inside the building at all times unless exempt;
  • Maintain social distancing as much as possible;
  • Answer the covid-19 questions at reception.
  • Upon arrival, you’ll see a QR code at the front door. If you have the NHS app, please feel free to check in.

We very much want to stay open and offer treatment as much as possible. However, if you are unwell, please do not attend but inform us and we will reimburse or reschedule your appointment at your convenience.

If you attend and the therapist feels you have symptoms which may be indicative of an infection, they are likely to ask you to return home.

For your convenience, please visit https://www.gov.uk/coronavirus for further information.

Many thanks,

The Bobath Centre

Please note, all of our therapists and staff are fully vaccinated and all staff working within the centre apply rapid lateral flow tests twice a week.

• All equipment and surfaces, including mats and toys, are cleaned after every client and we have a dedicated cleaning service who visit every evening from Monday to Friday.

• Rooms are aired between sessions and our therapists wear clean new PPE (gloves, apron and face mask) for each client.

• Our therapists will wear PPE when treating and moving through the centre.

• All our team received training in COVID-19 Secure procedures

• We are allowing longer gaps between appointment times to allow for full cleaning in between sessions

• We recommend downloading the NHS COVID-19 app for contact tracing
