A compilation of items to represent personal finance

We appreciate that when you are worried about how best to support a loved one, also worrying about money is an added stress that you don’t want. So let’s try to reassure you that there are various ways therapy can be funded, and we will always find a way to help and support you if you’re unable to pay for treatment.

Most importantly, you can be reassured that it doesn’t matter if you’re NHS or self-funded – the highest standards of care and levels of treatment are given to everyone we see.

Our aim is to provide treatment for all, for free. So where we can, we use grants and charitable funds to help us provide support and treatment to as many people as possible.

NHS funding

It’s possible that your local NHS could pay for your therapy, so start by asking your NHS GP for more information about NHS-supported physiotherapy schemes, or a referral to us for NHS-funded treatment.

If you feel the service the NHS is offering locally isn’t clinically appropriate for your needs you can ask for an Individual Funding Request (IFR).

Fundraising and charitable support

We are so grateful to the fundraising activities our supporters do, and other charitable donations. It’s with this generously donated money that we are able to offer subsidised therapy to so many of the people we treat.

It’s also possible for you to fundraise for your child’s Bobath Therapy  if you want to.

Otherwise we can offer advice and assistance on making an application to one of our schemes or another charity for support.
