March 2024 was CP Awareness Month. The National Bobath Cerebral Palsy Centre is dedicated to raising the profile of cerebral palsy, and supporting those living with the condition. A look back at some of the ways we did that.
The 400 Challenge
1 in 400 babies born each year in the UK will be diagnosed with cerebral palsy and other neurological conditions.
We asked people to take on the ‘400 Challenge’ for Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month.

In conversation with our Ambassador Dr. Lin Berwick MBE – author, broadcaster, lecturer and disability campaigner – about her memories of the Bobaths and her long and interesting life.
CP Awareness Month Online Event with Scope and CP Network
A collaborative event featuring The Bobath Centre, Scope Membership and the CP Network.
This event also incorporated a special tribute to International Women’s Day.
CP Sport Cafe Online Event
An online event for local organisations chatting about what they currently run in the local area from swimming to football and a whole host of other activities.
Legal Drop-In with JMW
In collaboration with our legal partners, we’re delighted to provide Free Legal Drop-in Sessions for our Centre visitors.
The sessions can be scheduled in advance with our partners, or you can simply drop by to consult with a solicitor during their available times.
Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month 2024: The National Bobath Cerebral Palsy Centre met MPs at Portcullis House where we raised awareness of the challenges facing people living with CP and asking for their support.
